Canon PowerShot V10 Review

I have been a big fan of the Canon Powershot V10 since I saw it a couple of months ago at Computex 2023. Ayano Tominaga brought it with her and showed it to me. I instantly fell in love with the camera, and told myself that I will get one once it launches in the Philippines.

Fast forward to today, more than 5 vlogs I have produced with the Canon Powershot V10, I am still enamored with the camera’s design.

Good Entry Level Vlogging Camera

What I don’t like

Battery life

If you are planning on using the V10 for vlogging or streaming, it is a good idea to bring a powerbank. What’s good is that the camera uses Type C, which makes it accessible to most users. Here are some of my tips when you get this camera:

• Use the power saving mode.
• Turn off the screen when you are not using it.
• Reduce the screen brightness.
• Avoid using the flash too often.
• Shoot in Full HD instead of 4K if you do not need the extra resolution.

Exposed lens

The Canon PowerShot V10 has a fixed wide-angle lens that is exposed. This means that the lens is not protected by a retractable lens cover or lens hood.
