Great news, the much anticipated Wepad tablet PC that has been hailed as the ‘ipad killer’ has finally got a release date and price. The German telecommunications company ‘Neophonie’ will be releasing this great gadget in July, one version with 16GB of memory will cost 449 Euros and the 32GB one with the 3G feature will be priced at 569 Euros. If you’re not familiar with this device it looks very similar to Aples recently released ipad touch screen computer with few differences.

The Wepad has a large 11.6” screen with 1366 x 768 resolution. The fast 1.66Ghz N450 processor at the center of this machine makes easy work of any desktop application, which on such a small screen will have even quicker loading times. The Wepad will have 2 USB ports, a 3.1 MP web cam, a memory card reader, WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS connection, to top it off the whole thing will be run on Google popular Android platform.
