You have a brand spankin new pocket PC that costs you hundreds of dollars and what's the first thing you do with it? You drop it or stick it in your pocket along with your keys. Goes with out saying that you will damage your precious PPC if you do that. When you buy your PPC make sure you have a case to go with it or at least use the one that comes with it until you find one you like. Now a case is not going to Protect it from a two story fall but if you inadvertantly knock it off your desk or something like that, it will give you some protection from scratches and dings. A case is a small price to pay for a lot of protection. Another thing that is a necessity is a good Screen protector. These will not only protect your screen from little scratches from keys and coins and such but after some use, your stylus will start leaving nice little gouges in your screen, especially if you have alot of dust on the screen. Which brings me to another item you should keep in your arsenal, a screen cleaner to prevent dust build up which will promote scratches on your screen when you use your stylus.

There are alot of goodies you can buy for your new toy, but be sure to get the ones that will help protect your investment.
