HMD Global has finally launched the much-awaited Nokia 6.1 Plus or the Nokia X6 in India. The device is going to be a Flipkart-exclusive and the sales will start from tomorrow that happens to be the 30th of August (12 PM local time).
In case you do not know, the Nokia 6.1 Plus or the Nokia X6 is the company’s first-ever Android One smartphone which has a notched display.
The device will be up for sales on Flipkart as well as on the company’s official website. The price is kept at INR 15,999 which roughly translates to around $225.
On the Flipkart selling page for the Nokia 6.1 Plus, we can see a lot of details about the device. For starters, we will get the 4GB/64GB variant of the device for INR 15,999. It is rather unclear as to whether or not the company will launch the rest of the variants in the Indian market.
The three color variants which are available are Black, Blue, and Black. If, however, you want to buy the device from the company’s official website, it is only available in Black color variant there.
The usual EMI scheme is available here as well.
Just as a refresher, the Nokia 6.1 Plus runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM (a 6GB variant is also reportedly going to make its way to the market) and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
As far as the display is concerned, the device sports a 5.8-inch FHD+ display giving out a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio with a notch at the top. The notch houses the front Camera as well as an earpiece and a proximity sensor.
Moving to the camera of the device, the device sports a dual camera setup at the back (16MP + 5MP) and a 16MP selfie snapper. Both the front and the rear cameras pack in AI capabilities. The front camera of the device comes with an intelligent 3D blur and beauty filters.
