Huawei is working on launching the Honor 8X and the Honor 8X Max smartphones pretty soon and we all are eagerly waiting for it for they are going to pack in a lot of amazing specifications and features. We are particularly waiting for the Honor 8X Max as it is going to sport a humongous 7.12-inch notched display.
Recently, a bunch of teaser images of the device has popped up on the internet which reveals and confirms a lot of specifications and features of the 8X Max.
As discussed earlier, the Honor 8X Max will sport a huge 7.12-inch display with a very tiny notch at the top of it. The waterdrop notch has kind of become a new trend in the world of Android as a lot of companies are incorporating it as of late. This gives the Honor 8X Max a substantial 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Though the earpiece will stay in the top bezel, it is not that much apparent. As a matter of fact, the earpiece will double as the secondary speaker to provide for a Dolby Atmos-enhanced sound. Clearly, the Honor 8X Max is going to be an amazing choice for a media-rich Android device.
The side view of the device shows the curved edges and, needless to say, the curved edges look stunning. Moving to the dimensions, the Honor 8X Max measures 177.6 x 86.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs in at a slightly heavier side (210 grams). The device will be available in Red, Black, and Blue color variants.
As far as the battery is concerned, we are going to get a massive 4,900 mAh battery, but considering how huge the display of the device is, the battery appears to be just decent enough at the most. Thankfully, there is a support for 18W quick charging that would provide for up to 40 minutes of calls with a 10 minutes charge.
Luckily enough, we are going to get a 3.5mm headphone jack. The same, however, cannot be said about the charging port as we are going to get a standard USB 2.0 charging port with the Honor 8X Max which is kind of a bummer.
Moving to the cameras, the honor 8X Max will sport a dual camera setup at the back (16MP + 2MP) and an 8MP selfie snapper.
As of now, there is no word on the price of the device, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same as the Honor 8X lineup is going to be released on September 5.
