Oppo recently announced the second generation of its Realme lineup. The Oppo Realme 2 offers a lot of amazing specifications and features at an ultra-affordable price.

Right at the end of the launch event of the Realme 2, the company teased a launch of yet another smartphone under the lineup which will be dubbed the Realme 2 Pro.

The company did not specifically mention the name of the device, but the poster above clearly gives a working clue as to what the name is going to be.

As of now, there is no word on the price and the specifications of the Realme 2 Pro, but we can certainly expect it to be a beefier version of the original Realme 2. We can expect a 6GB/128GB variant which has so far been missing out (the Realme 1 had a 6GB/128GB variant). Furthermore, we can expect the display resolution to be slightly bumped up.

As the company officials mentioned that the Realme 2 Pro will be a slightly pricier smartphone, we can expect it to fall under the 15K segment of the Indian smartphones market.

As far as the regular Realme 2 is concerned, the following are the specifications and the features of the device:

Starting things off with the display, the Oppo Realme 2 sports a 6.2-inch display giving out a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. Truth be told, the company could have done better in terms of the display quality. There is a 19:9 aspect ratio meaning that there is indeed a notch at the top of the display. There is a small chin at the bottom of the display.

Under the hood, we get a decent Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card. We are pretty sure that the device will get an additional storage variant pretty soon.

Moving to the OS, the Oppo Realme 2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the company’s proprietary ColorOS 5.1 on top of it.
