With Miui 12, Xiaomi introduced two popular live Wallpapers called Super Earth and Super Moon Wallpaper. Both live wallpapers received positive feedback for a great animation that takes place when you open the lock. Linuxct has also ported these wallpapers for other devices. Linuxct is a recognized developer and an XDA member. He released the last MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper apk last year. And now he has updated it which brings major improvements and new scenes. He announced the release of the MIUI 12 Super live wallpapers updates on Twitter.
Talking about new features, the update brings two new scenes Pahrump Hills and Bahram Vallis in Super Moon Live Wallpaper. And Super Earth Live Wallpaper also comes with two new scenes: Greece’s Navagio Beach and Italy’s Dolomites.
Now you can use one APK for all scenes. Yes, you only need a single apk for all previous and new scenes that you can change directly from the custom-built configuration activity. The update also supports dynamic brightness features that will change the brightness of the wallpaper based on the time of the day. Also in some of the scenes, Sunset and Sunrise will have special effects.
As now all scenes come in one APK, you will not find the option to switch between dark and bright manually. You can make use of the dynamic brightness feature. But if you have activated full time dark mode on your phone but want the wallpaper to change by the time then you need to follow these steps:
- Enable Dark Mode in your screen/customization Settings
- Enable the Schedule option (if your device has it), and set it to a custom schedule.
- Set the start time to 4:00 am and the end time at 3:59 am.

After downloading the apk, install it on your device. Now apply the live wallpaper using the stock wallpaper picker of your device (On most phones you can long press on the homescreen to get the wallpaper picker). After applying the MIUI 12 Super wallpaper, open the app that you installed and it will open the configurator. Here you can switch to any scenes you want.
