Bus Simulator 21 was announced at Gamescom 2020 which was followed by the game’s teaser as well as the gameplay demo was released. The Bus Simulator 21 is now set to release on 7th September 2021.

The Bus Simulator 21 teaser trailer was premiered on the 11th of August 2020. It showcases the cities, the traffic as well as a glimpse of the Alexander Dennis bus. The next trailer revealed was the Angel Shores trailer. Which showcases the various locations within the city. The game has two maps as of now, Angel Shores and Seaside Valley. Angel Shores is based around an American city. Various locations within Angel Shores include Highlander Park, Saint Antony, Baytree, Lakeside View, West Oakwood, Oakwood, Coyote Bush, Copperpot, Millbrook, Arnold Park, Denali Research, Gold Island, Pecunia, Indigo Hill, Timber Ridge, Valley Spring, Sunkiss, Seaview, Auris Harbor, Eclipse Bay, and Silverpark.

The seaside valley is more or less loosely based on a European City. However, there is no map trailer for this particular location. We could expect the developers to reveal locations within the Seaside Vally at a later date.

The game also has various kinds of difficulty modes as well as more kinds of play modes suitable for various kinds of players. Apart from that, you will also be creating timetables, managing various elements, buying and selling busses, planning routes as well as dealing with various kinds of passengers in the bus.

You will be able to play with friends online but only cross-generation. This means that PS4 players will be able to play only with PS5 players and so on. The same goes for the Xbox consoles as well. Other features in the game now include the ability to jump to various bus stops, control the AI buses, and even the ability to fast travel to a particular location or stop. Of course, you will have various kinds of hazards and road works where you will have to manage around passing them.

Bus Simulator 21 mod use

You can also make use of mods to add more maps, busses, and stops to the game. However, this is only available for those on PC. Apart from creating mods, you can also share them with others and try out various other mods that have been designed by various people that will be available in the community, all thanks to the extended Modding Kit.

The game was first announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, with the launch of the new generation consoles, you will be able to play it on PS5 as well as the Xbox Series X|S. On PC, you will also have support for controllers, and steering wheel setups too. The game will be available on Steam for PC, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store.
