  3. Now sign in to the Emulator to activate play store.
  4. Open Play Store and search Mi Drop.
  5. Install Mi Drop (If you have an APK file you can install that).
  6. That’s it Mi Drop is now installed on PC.

Now you can share or transfer files from PC to other devices.

Transfer Files from Android to PC using Mi Drop

For this, you don’t need to Install Mi Drop on PC. But it should be installed on your Android Phone.

Using Internet

  1. First Install Mi Drop on your Android Phone.
  2. Connect Android Phone and Computer with same WiFi.
  3. Open Mi Drop and tap on your Avtar on the top left.
  4. Select Connect to Computer option. 
  5. Tap on Start. 
  6. Mi Drop will now provide an FTP address (ftp://192.168.x.x:xxxx). 
  7. Open any browser on PC.
  8. Enter the same FTP address on the search bar and search.
  9. You will see all the folders as directory.
  10. Now you can open any folder and download files from it.

Without Internet

  1. Open Mi Drop on your Android Phone.
  2. Tap on your Avtar on the top left.
  3. Select the Webshare option. 
  4. Then tap on Share. 
  5. Select files you want to transfer and tap Next.
  6. Enable Location services.
  7. It will automatically setup hotspot on Android phone.
  8. Connect your PC with the hotspot and tap Next.
  9. Open any Browser on your Computer or iPhone.
  10. Type the FTP address on the browser and search. Or scan the QR Code
  11. It will list all the file you want to transfer.
  12. Click on Download icon to select the location where you want to download.
  13. That’s it! Now you can transfer other files from Android to PC in the same way.
