Overwatch is a multiplayer FPS game with animated graphics. The game was first released on March 2016 for Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platform. It’s a team based game where two teams containing six members each brawl with each other and win by eliminating the most number of players. The respawn feature is also available in the game. The main attraction in the game is the characters and their different perks. There are 30 heroes and players can choose according to their strength and tactics. 1. Paladins

Paladins is a multiplayer first person shooter game (third-person shooter also available) which is very similar to Overwatch. The game released in the year 2018 for Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. So if you have any of these platforms then you can enjoy playing Paladins.

About the plot of Paladin, the game is a team based game where two teams opposing each other show their talent and strategies to win the game. Similar to Overwatch various characters are also available in Paladins characterized in four different sections. There are also four different game modes in the game: Siege, Onslaught, Team Deathmatch, and Ranked. At the start of the game players have access to only four characters and after collecting in-game currencies they can buy or unlock other characters as well.

Players can choose from nine character classes which suit them most. Talking about game modes it includes Capture the flag, Control Points, Payload, and King of the Hill. These are the main modes in the game however there are more modes related to these main modes like Payload Race, Territory Control and more. The game consists of two teams RED (Reliable Excavation & Demolition) and BLU (Builders League United).

Warframe is a single-payer & multiplayer third person shooter game. The game is very similar to Overwatch in terms of gameplay. It was released in March 2013 for various platforms. The developer and publisher of the game are the same which is Digital Extremes. The graphics are not like Overwatch, it’s more like sci-fi type.

The game follows the characters of ancient warriors who are the members of Tenno and controlled by players. Each character has different ability and different actions. Players create their Tenno character and use those characters to complete various missions. On successful completion of missions player and their equipment also gain experience. The higher level of equipment will be more powerful than the lower level which is quite obvious.

4. Blacklight: Retribution

Blacklight: Retribution is a first-person shooter multiplayer game which was released on April 2012. The game is developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Perfect World Entertainment. Whereas the developer is different for windows platform. The game is a sequel of Blacklight: Tango Down and it is a free game similar to Overwatch.

There are various maps and modes available in the game to play. It is an action-packed game with enjoyable gameplay. Game modes that are available to play are Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination, King of the Hill, and Kill Confirmed. So with these modes and a lot of maps the game is amazing and addictive. It has everything that a player can ask for without spending money.

5. Plant vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2

Plant vs Zombies is a well-known game and doesn’t need an introduction. While the PvZ Garden Warfare 2 is a third person shooter which can be played as single-player and multiplayer both. It was released in February 2016. The game is developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts.

Garden Warfare 2 is a sequel of Garden Warfare and inherits all the modes and maps with some additional modes and plant & zombie classes. The games have so many modes which are Backyard Battleground, Flag of Power, Garden Ops, Graveyard Ops, Solo Ops, Team Vanquish, Vanquish Confirmed, Gardens and Graveyards, Herbal Assault, Gnome Bomb, Mixed Mode, Suburbination, Infinity Time, Boss Hunt, Cats vs Dinos, and Capture the Taco. If you have ever played plant vs zombies then you know the capabilities of plants. The gameplay is similar to Overwatch.

Dirty Bomb is a first-person shooter multiplayer game and it is free to play. The game was earlier known as Extraction. It is developed by Splash Damage and published by WarChest. The game is very similar to Overwatch in every possible way excluding some.

Dirty Bomb is a shooting game based on various objectives. The name significate that the atomic explosion occurred in England and caused epidemic contamination of toxic gas spread in streets of London. The evacuation plan took place to save everyone. This whole scenario is referred to as ‘Dirty Bomb’. The battle takes place between mercenaries hired by the government (CDA) and the mercenaries hired by criminals (Jackal). You can easily guess the objective of both the mercenaries. At the start, player has to choose between CDA and jackal and then complete the objectives accordingly.

7. Gotham City Imposters

Gotham City Imposters is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Yes, its related to Batman’s Gotham city. The game is set in the universe of DC comics Batman.

There are two teams in the game one who dressed like Batman and another team who dressed like joker. Both the teams contains six members each. Player can customize characters over time. Along with various guns and knives, players can carry other gadgets as well, like grappling hooks, glider wings, roller skates, and explosives. These gadgets can be customized too it will help the players to win the brawl between other players. Player can choose among four different modes: Psych Warfare, Fumigation, Bounty hunter, and Team Deathmatch.

8. Battleborn

Battleborn is a single-player and multiplayer first-person shooter game. The game was released in May 2016. It was developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. This is one of the best games like Overwatch to try. In fact the game watch released just before the Overwatch but lost many players to Overwatch.

The game is free to play and the gameplay is just like Overwatch. Player can select a pre-designed character at starting according to the character skill and different attack styles. During matches, player can earn experience which will help them to get new abilities and it will advance their characters. Like Overwatch, it also has various characters (30 to be specific) to choose from. Player can choose from three different modes: Meltdown, Incursion, Capture, Face-off, and Supercharge.

Block N Load is a multiplayer First person shooter game. If you like to play lego like graphics games and with small sized characters then this could be the best to try. It was released on April 2015 by Jagex. The game also features voxel-based sandbox gameplay.

It is a free to play game, so if you don’t wanna spend then give it a try. It is a unique and enjoyable game similar to Overwatch. The gameplay moto is Build and Destroy. In build phase find brick, crate, sandbag, force gate, glue, radar and many more to build deadly, devious construction. In destroy phase a player has to destroy everything that the opposing team has built using explosives, firepower.  Attack & Defend modes are also available.

Guns of Boom is a multiplayer first-person shooter game for Android and iOS. If you like PVP action games on phones then this could be the best choice. The game was released on May 2017 by Game Insight.

Players will be given with a character which can be customized later by collecting in-game money to buy outfits. Well in the game character does not have any ability or style. But the guns matters the most in this game. Players can buy different types of guns in the game like shotgun, rifle, sniper and more. Players can collect guns of other players whom they have killed. It is one of the popular Android games.

Shadowgun legends is the third game in Shadowgun series. It is a Single player and multiplayer first-person shooter game released on March 2018. The game also has player vs player battle modes in the game.

Player can play and compete in various modes such as Duel, Ascendancy, Elimination, Dungeons, and Arenas. At first, player has to create a Shadowgun or character and then play with it. Player will be also given with a base where they can move around and play different mode games. In the game, ping problem has appeared many times, but its a good game overall.
