Infinix Unveils Feature-Packed NOTE 30 Series: Best Under $300?

The post Infinix Unveils Feature-Packed NOTE 30 Series: Best Under $300? appeared first on Techish Kenya.

Infinix is set to launch its highly anticipated NOTE 30 series in Kenya on June 2nd. The NOTE 30 series comprises four models: Note 30 Play (NFC), Note 30 LTE, Note 30 Pro, and Note 30 5G. These smartphones aim to redefine the sub-$300 market segment by offering an array of impressive features at an affordable price point.

One of the standout features of this series is the All-Round FastCharge technology which brings 68W Fast Charging (wired) and 15W wireless fast charing to the NOTE 30 Pro. Although earlier leaks suggested 260W fast wired charging and 110W fast wireless charging, these appear to be coming with higher-end Infinix phones – perhaps the next ZERO series.

The other two models, Note 30 LTE and Note 30 5G, support 45W charging. The Note 30 Play boasts a larger 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Notably, the NOTE 30 series is the first in its class to feature wireless charging, and the wireless charger is included in the box, providing users with a convenient and hassle-free charging experience.

All models in the NOTE 30 series share some notable features. They come with NFC support, headphone jacks, Type-C charging ports, side-mounted fingerprint readers, and JBL-tuned dual stereo speakers.

The NOTE 30 series is powered by MediaTek chipsets, with the Note 30 Play featuring the Helio G37, and the Note 30 and Note 30 Pro equipped with the Helio G99. These processors provide smooth performance and efficient multitasking capabilities thanks to UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR LP4X RAM.

Display technology is another highlight of the NOTE 30 series. The Note 30 Pro features an AMOLED screen with a 360Hz touch sampling rate and a maximum brightness of 900 nits, delivering vibrant visuals. The other models sport 6.78″ LCD screens with 120Hz refresh rates, offering smooth scrolling and responsive touch experiences.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the camera systems on these devices. The Note 30 Pro and the NOTE 30 5G boast a 108MP main camera, while the Note 30 LTE features a 64MP main camera. The Note 30 Play offers a 16MP primary lens. Each device has different auxiliary lenses to enhance photography capabilities, including depth sensors and AI lenses. Selfie enthusiasts will be pleased with the 32MP front-facing camera on the Note 30 Pro, while the other models offer 16MP or 8MP selfie cameras.

Once the new series is launched locally, we will be able to see local pricing and compare it with competition. However, there’s no phone in the $300 segment (about KES 45,000 – taxes and exchange rate included) that’s offering those speeds plus wireless charging, not forgetting the IP53 rating for dust and water resistance.
