Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2:
The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 looks similar to Asus Zenfone 5Z in terms of design but comes with downgraded specs. The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with glass back along with metal chassis which give premium look and feel to the device. The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will arrive in Gray and Blue colors. It is just 8.5 mm thick and weighs around 170 grams.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports 6.3 inches FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2280×1080 and is protected by the new Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on top. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is powered by the SD660 AIE SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage we can expect 6GB RAM variant too in the future. The storage can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot up to 2TB.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 features dual rear cameras with the 12MP primary Sony IMX486 camera with an aperture of f/1.8, PDAF, EIS, 6 element lens along with 5MP secondary sensor with 84 degrees FOV coupled with LED flash. There is a 13MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 with LED flash diffused light.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner and 3.5 mm audio jack. It also comes with 5 Magnetic speakers with NXP Amplifier
The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 ships with 5000 mAh battery which can last for 2 days on a single charge but doesn’t have support for quick charging. The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 runs on outdated Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box.
Asus Zenfone Max M2:
Asus also launched lower priced Asus Zenfone Max M2 in Russia. The only difference between the two is the new Asus Zenfone Max M2 comes with all metal unibody design instead of Glass on the Pro. The new Asus Zenfone Max M2 is slimmer at 7.7 mm thick and weighs around 160 grams. Asus Zenfone Max M2 will ship in three colors with Blue, Black, and Silver.
The new Asus Zenfone Max M2 sports 6.3 inches HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2280×1080 and is protected by the new 2.5D curved Glass on top.
