Earlier we had few leaks and rumors about the next gen of Apple Airpods which made its debut with iPhone X in 2017 and we still didn’t get the upgraded version this year. Apple has unveiled the new iPads and MacBook lineup but just forgot to launch the new Apple AirPods this year.

Now one of the popular analyst Kuo has revealed that Apple will launch the upgraded AirPods with Wireless charging support by Q1 of 2019. Further, he also states that the All-new design Apple AirPods will make its debut not earlier than early 2020.

Anyway, the first upgraded version of AirPods will be made available by Q1 of 2019 as per Kuo which is expected to have the wireless charging feature as the case will ship with the more expensive rigid-flex board. Apple will also change the hinge of the charging case for higher thermal requirements which will further increase the cost by 60% than the original AirPods.

The upgraded AirPods will also get new Bluetooth specs. Anyway, we will have a minor upgraded version of the AirPods launching next year and have to wait for 2020 for all new AirPods.
