Secure digital card known as SD card is commonly used in various portable devices like cell phones, tablets,💻 laptops, e-books, Digital camera 🎥 etc. These SD card provide you considerable space in minimal cost. But sometime SD card become corrupted which may cause loss of your data, important files. It also affects the performance of your device. Here is step by step guide to fix your corrupted and damaged SD card.
🔴 Connect your SD card with another device. Because some time issue is in our device and that why it doesn't recognize any SD card or not read any SD card. Also try another SD card in your device. With this you can be able to recognize the real nature of the problem.
🔴 If problem is in your SD card then firstly Backup your data. For backup connect your device with Any Pc. Connect device with USB cable to your Pc. You can directly put SD card in your PC by card reader. Some PC have built in card reader.
🔴 On your PC open My Computer>>Removable drive
🔴 In Removable drive folder select all files or press Ctrl+A and then press Ctrl+C to copy these files.
🔴 Go to Desktop> any folder and paste the selected files by pressing Ctrl+P
Your backup process is complete.
🔴 After backup open My Computer and right clickon SD card drive or mention as removable drive and select Format. Leave all default settings and click start.
🔴 Once the format process completes backup all data from pc to your SD card and check whether the problem is fix or not.
🔴 If format doesn't solve the issue then take note 📝of drive letter that assigned to your SD card and on your PC >> Click on Start > Run you can also press (Windows logo key + R) to open run window .Then, type CMD.
Alternatively click on start and search for command prompt. In command prompt Enter the following command:
chkdsk [sd card drive letter]: /r
This will fix your damaged SD card.
