Nobody can miss it anymore, Instagram is a hit and it's used by many users. People share photos of holidays, parties or other things that they have made. Instagram is upgrading their functions, although this time, through a new application that is separate from their own application. What is Instagram Direct?

Instagram is currently testing an application that will be used for private messages. The readers who use Instagram will be thinking right now: ''This is something we already have!''
That's right, but this time what they're doing is similar to what Facebook did when they produced an app that it is separated from their main app. We can compare it to what Facebook Messenger is.

What new functions are available?

Instagram Direct will be a combination of messages and Snapchat functions. Hemal Shah (Instagram product manager) recently said that Instagram looks at the pictures of the customers' Whatsapp and Snapchat. They will make a combination in which users can quickly share everything with friends and family.

When is it available?

From 7th of December, the test application has been available in six countries including Portugal, Turkey, Uruguay, Italy, Israel, and Chile. When would it be released in the UK? Still remains a question.
