VIVO X100

Under the hood, the Vivo X100 has the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, making it the first phone in the Indian market with this SOC. The Dimensity 9300 has a unique CPU configuration with all the big cores.

Based on the TSMC’s 4nm process, this chip offers up to 40% improved peak CPU performance and 33% lower power consumption than the predecessor. The chipset has the Immortalis G720 GPU, offering a 46% improved peak performance and 40% lower power consumption than the predecessor.

Vivo X100 has 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. For comparison, the Vivo X90 was launched with 8GB RAM in the base variant.

There is a triple-camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.49″ 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor with OIS. The ultrawide camera has a 1/2.76″ 50MP sensor. The periscope Telephoto Camera has a 1/2″ 64MP sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom. The telephoto camera can be used to take some great macro shots as well.

Vivo X100 comes with some ZEISS goodies, such as ZEISS Bokeh styles, ZEISS T* Coating, etc.

For an even better camera performance, the Vivo X100 has the Vivo V2 chip.

The display is a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED with a 1.5K resolution (2800 × 1260 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits local peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The phone is IP68-certified and comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The battery is 5,000mAh and there is 120W fast charging support. You get a 120W adapter in the box.

Finally, FuntouchOS 14 runs out of the box, based on Android 14.

VIVO X100 PRO

The Vivo X100 Pro is the company’s most premium offering currently. The design is identical to the non-Pro version, with the only noticeable difference being the bigger camera module since the phone has better sensors. The phone even has the same SOC and the same display.

The camera setup is different from the vanilla model. The Vivo X100 Pro has three cameras as well, but the sensors are upgraded. The primary camera has a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with OIS. The ultrawide camera is the same as the vanilla model. The periscope telephoto camera has a 1/2″ 50MP sensor with OIS and 4.3x optical zoom.
