Tags: moto phone camera

The Moto G13 was launched in India in March, and today, the brand launched its upgraded version in India – Moto G14. Moto G14 has a higher-resolution display, faster storage, and a different chipset. The phone comes with a price tag of ₹9,999, the same as the Moto G13’s.

Starting with the design and build, the material used is PMMA or Acrylic, and the device weighs 177g. There is an IP52 water-repellent design, a USB Type-C port on the bottom, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and, not to forget, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The display is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate and a Full-HD+ resolution. For comparison, Moto G13 has an HD+ 90Hz IPS LCD. So, while the resolution has gone up on the Moto G14, the refresh rate has come down.

Under the hood, Moto G14 has the UNISOC T616 chipset. It is built on the 12nm process and has an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.0GHz. There is 4GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. For comparison, Moto G13 has a slower eMMC storage.

The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 15W charging. Although in the box, you get a 20W adapter.

Speaking of the cameras, Moto G14 has a dual Camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens and PDAF. The secondary camera has a depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP camera.

Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box, and the phone will only get one Android OS update.

Moto G14 comes in two colors – Steel Gray and Sky Blue. It is available in a single configuration (4GB + 128GB), and the price is ₹9,999. The sale starts on August 8, and you can get the phone from Flipkart.
