In February, Iqoo Neo 7 was launched in the Indian market with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and a starting price of ₹29,999. Today, the brand launched Neo 7 Pro in India, and as the name suggests, this phone offers even better performance than the vanilla model. The iQOO Neo 7 Pro in India is the same phone available in China as the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. Like all the iQOO phones, the USP of the Neo 7 Pro is performance since it is the most affordable phone in India with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The design is identical to the Neo 7. Hence, there is a flat display with a hole punch cutout in the center, a triple camera setup on the rear, an under-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, etc. The color options differ, so the Neo 7 Pro comes in Dark Storm and Fearless Flame colors.
As for the specs, iQOO Neo 7 Pro has the same display as the Neo 7: a 6.78-inch 120Hz Full-HD+ AMOLED with 10-bit color depth and 1300 nits peak brightness. The display supports HDR10+ and has 2160Hz PWM dimming. The battery size is the same at 5,000mAh, and the charging speed at 120W.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, which sits just below the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in terms of performance. This SOC is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also has an Independent Gaming Chip (IGC) that boosts the FPS while playing games, thanks to the frame rate interpolation, and reduces power consumption. For better thermals, there is a large 4013 mm square Vapor Chamber.
Regarding cameras, iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a 1/1.57″ 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor for the primary camera with an f/1.88 lens and OIS. The second camera is for ultrawide photos and has an 8MP sensor. The third 2MP sensor is for macro images. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13.
