Oppo Reno 10 series officially launched in China

OPPO RENO 10

Oppo Reno 10 is the successor to the Reno 9 and comes with an upgraded design that includes a redesigned camera module. If you recall, the Reno 9 had no camera island and a dual camera setup on the rear. Oppo went for a camera island and an extra rear camera on the vanilla model this time. There is a glass back, and the three color options have different textures on the back. The phone is quite slim at 7.58mm and weighs 180g.

The phone has a curved display with quite slim bezels, resulting in a 93% screen-to-body ratio. It is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2412 × 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and 950 nits peak brightness. The fingerprint sensor is located under the display.

Under the hood, Oppo Reno 10 has the Snapdragon 778G chipset, the same SOC which powered the Reno 9. The phone has 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is a 12GB + 512GB variant with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Coming to the cameras, Reno 10 has three on the back. The primary camera has a 1/2-inch 64MP sensor without OIS support. The second camera is for ultrawide shots and has an 8MP sensor. The third camera has a 2X telephoto lens and a 1/2.74-inch 32MP sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP RGBW sensor. 4K video recording is supported but limited to 30fps.

The phone has a 4600mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging.

Finally, ColorOS 13.1 runs out of the box.

Oppo Reno 10 comes in three colors, and here is the pricing –

  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥2499 (~$354)
  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥2799 (~$396)
  • 12GB + 512GB – ¥2999 (~$425)

OPPO RENO 10 PRO

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro has a similar design as the vanilla model, but the phone is slightly thicker (7.68 mm vs. 7.58mm) and heavier (186g vs. 180g).

Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, an upgrade over the Dimensity 8100-MAX inside the Reno 9 Pro. The phone has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The battery size is the same as the vanilla model at 4,600mAh, but the charging speed is upgraded to 100W.

The camera setup is the same except for the primary sensor. The triple camera setup on the rear includes a 50MP 1/1.56-inch Sony sensor with OIS support, a 32MP 2X telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide. The selfie shooter has a 32MP sensor. The recording is still limited to 4K 30fps. The phone also has the MariSiliconX NPU, missing from Reno 10.

The display is a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1400 nits peak brightness, and 10-bit color depth.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro comes in three colors, and here is the pricing for China –

  • 16GB + 256GB – ¥3499 (~$495)
  • 16GB + 512GB – ¥3899 (~$552)

OPPO RENO 10 PRO+

The Reno 10 Pro+ is the flagship phone under this series, featuring the same design as the other two phones. One of the design highlights is the bezels. The bezels are slim, resulting in a 93.9% screen-to-body ratio, the highest on a Reno series phone. The phone is thicker than the other two at 8.28mm and heavier at 194g.

The phone has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, the same chip as the Reno 9 Pro+. The display is the same as Reno 10 Pro. Similar features are the charging speed, selfie camera, and primary and ultrawide camera.

Compared to a 2X telephoto camera on the Reno 10 Pro, the Reno 10 Pro+ has a periscope camera with a 64MP sensor, OIS, and 3X optical zoom. There is support for 4K video recording up to 60fps.

Finally, Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ has a slightly bigger 4,700mAh battery.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ comes in three colors, and here is the pricing for China –
