Realme 7 Pro launched in India with 65W SuperDart Charging

In March this year, Realme 6 Pro launched in the Indian market & it featured a unique rear design, Dual Selfie cameras, a 90Hz LCD, Snapdragon 720G, 30W Fast Charging & more. Well today, Realme launched the successor of the phone in India, the Realme 7 Pro. While the phone has the same chip as the Realme 6 Pro, it comes with an impressive 65W SuperDart Charging which makes it the fastest charging smartphone in India (along with Realme X50 Pro).

The charging speed isn’t the only upgrade, as you will know by the end of this article.

REALME 7 PRO – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS

With every new smaryphones, Realme changes the design on the back & this time, the story is the same. The Realme 7 Pro has, what Realme calls, an “AG Split” design. There is a two-tone finish on the back & the back panel also has an Anti-Glare finish. The Quad camera setup is now placed in a rectangular camera module which also houses the LED flash.

Now, despite the fact that there is a bigger battery than the Realme 6 Pro, the 7 Pro is lighter at 182g (compared to 195g) & also thinner at 8.7mm (compared to 8.9mm). The phone has a triple card slot so that means you can add not only two SIM cards but also a microSD card at the same time.

On the front, there is a design change as well since now, the Realme 7 Pro has a single hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera compared to dual selfie cameras on the Realme 6 Pro. It is a 32 Megapixel shooter featuring UIS for Videos, Nightscape, & f/2.5 aperture.

Another highlight of the phone is the addition of stereo speakers with Dolby ATMOS & Hi-Res Certification! Finally, all the ports are there, so Realme didn’t remove the 3.5mm headphone jack from the 7 Pro.

One of the biggest upgrades over the Realme 6 Pro is definitely the display. There is no longer an LCD panel since Realme 7 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel featuring Full-HD+ resolution. This also means that there is no high-refresh-rate since the phone comes with a normal 60Hz panel. Still, AMOLED panel is always a welcome upgrade over an LCD.

Also, since there is an AMOLED panel, the fingerprint scanner is placed under the display, unlike the Realme 6 Pro which has it on the right side. Realme didn’t go for a newer SOC for the 7 Pro since it has the same Snapdragon 720G SOC which powers the Realme 6 Pro.

In terms of the cameras, there is an upgraded primary shooter. The Megapixels count remains the same at 64, but this time, instead of going for a Samsung sensor again, Realme went for the Sony IMX682 sensor which we have seen on the Samsung Galaxy M31s. It is a large 1/1.73″ sensor with Quad Pixel technology which results in an effective pixel size of 1.6-micron (0.8-micron individual pixel size).

Talking about other cameras, there is an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 Megapixel Macro & a 2 Megapixel B&W Portrait Lens. It is a shame that Realme removed the 12MP telephoto lens that we had on Realme 6 Pro. Realme’s excuse for this is that the 64MP camera can take more detailed images at 2X Zoom than a dedicated 2X Telephoto camera.

Finally, talking about the biggest highlight of Realme 7 Pro, there is 65W SuperDart Charging which means alongside the Realme X50 Pro, it is the fastest charging smartphone in India. Just like the X50 Pro, there is a Dual Battery setup underneath, so each cell is 2,250mAh, which results in the overall size of 4,500mAh. There are 10 Temprature sensors in the device so that it is ensured that the overall temperature doesn’t go beyond 40 degrees while charging.

In just 15-minutes, you can charge the 4,500mAH battery of Realme 7 Pro up to 58% which means it is 3-times faster than 33W Charging, It takes just 34 minutes to charge the phone fully!
