Programmers have special needs from a monitor such as multitasking features, lots of screen space, and great durability, because I have seen some raging programmers in my time punching and knocking screens, and I would advise you to not punch your monitor and just take a deep breath instead and try to relax.

Dell has Plenty of monitors that are perfect for this category, and this time around I am going to introduce you with the beastly P4317Q, which sports a 43-inch display with Ultra-high-definition resolution a wide range of connectivity ports and plenty of features that make it an amazing multitasker.

The Dell P4317Q is truly a behemoth, a huge machine, there are a lot of TVs in the markets that come in a smaller size, however, Dell does it so well. With pretty streamlined and refined aesthetics, despite being so large, this monitor looks pretty clean and slick. It sports a dark silver back panel with the Dell logo on the top and half-inch bezels on the front face, with the buttons on the right-hand side.

The whole monitor measures 38.31×9.84×25.9-inches in total and weighs a hefty 40-pounds complete with the stand, so you have to take those factors into consideration before buying this monitor. The stand delivers plenty of stability but not a lot of adjustment, but it is okay considering its size. On the back, you will find plenty of connectivity ports ranging, from Display Port, Mini Display Port, HDMI port, VGA, five USB 3.0 ports, audio input, headphone port, and RS232 connection, and in its package, you will find tons of cables that will make things easier for you.

The biggest selling point of the Dell P4317Q is that you can use up to 4 sources at the same time with its splitting feature, for perfect productivity and multi-tasking. On top of this, the monitor is decently calibrated in its factory settings and it doesn’t need much tweaking on top of it.

It is equipped [ped with an IPS panel with a decent brightness of 380nits and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The colours were pretty accurate in the sRGB colour gamut thanks to its 10-bit output, in addition to this, the 60Hz refresh rate and amazing viewing angles make this monitor a dream come true for everybody.
