Vizio is known for producing excellent TVs, and in recent years, they have started competing with the larger brands and gave them a run for their money. The VIZIO P-Series Quantum is a 75-inch TV with 4K resolution, HDR support, it is excellent for gamers, greate contrast, and right out of the box the picture is exceptional. If you value your money, it is very safe to invest in this great TV.

Design-wise this TV really resembles the last years model with its extremely slim bezels on top and sides, and the aluminum band on the bottom that gives this TV its premium feel and look. To keep the device steady, the manufacturer has employed a pair of metal feet that look extremely good and are of the highest quality.

On the back of the TV, you will spot the large 400×400 VESA mount holes for wall mounting, and also there you will find the connectivity ports that face downward and to the side, and can easily be accessed even when the TV is wall mounted. However, there is not any form of cable management, although the TV is solidly built and it doesn’t showcase any weak points in any part.

When you turn on this TV you will be introduced to the new SmartCast 3.0 smart TV OS, which has voice assistant capabilities, such as Google Assistant, Alexa, and even Siri. The VIZIO P-Series Quantum also features free apps on its interface, most importantly the WatchFree service, that offers content from cable services such as CNN and Comedy Central. On top of this, the smart TV system also supports the most popular streaming services right out of the box.

This 75-inch TV with 4K Ultra HD resolution is extremely capable thanks to its 240 local dimming zones for the best contrast and blacks, and it delivers tremendous colors up to 115% than its direct competitor’s thanks to its Quantum color technology. It also gets very bright at 1200 nits of brightness, one of the best viewing experiences in the price range, no direct competitor in its category. Definitely one of the best 75-inch TVs out there.

4. Samsung QN75Q80R

Best Viewing Angles

Samsung is still going strong with their QLED technology as opposed to its direct competitors opting for OLED TVs, and rightly so since they have improved the technology to provide an excellent experience. The Samsung QN75Q80R is one of the best large screen TVs with amazing brightness, great contrast, decent operating system, balanced sound, and the best viewing angles on the market so far. Samsung has once again delivered a quality product.

As all QLED TVs that are built around the LCD technology, this device as well as a little thicker than its competitors at 62millimeters. Also, the Samsung QN75Q80R weighs a hefty 18kilograms, which has bothered some users that have considered wall mounting the TV. However, if you manage to look past those issues, this device is extremely attractive with its slim bezels, curved corners, and nicely designed central stand.

I favour TVs with central stands because it covers a smaller foot space and requires a smaller desk size for the TV, this stand was also high enough for you to put a soundbar beneath the TV. As expected from Samsung the build quality is top of the market and this TV will stand the test of time.

There are plenty of connectivity options on the Samsung QN75Q80R, including four HDMI ports one with ARC support, two USB ports, an Ethernet for faster internet, and many more. However, I would have preferred if the manufacturer would have included its amazing One Connect box, which is one of my favourite features from Samsung TVs.

The Samsung QN75Q80R can achieve about 1500 nits of brightness at its peak, and it has full-array local dimming to provide excellent contrast. It is very capable in the HDR department, supporting HLG, HDR10, and HDR10+, and on top of all this it has the amazing Ultra-Wide Viewing Angle system that reduced the light leakage and as its name implies provides great viewing angles.

This TV is perfect for watching 4K content at its 3840×2160 resolution, with excellently vibrant colors and sharp details. It is also worth considering if you are a gamer thanks to its rapid response time of 20ms.

3. TCL 75R617

Best Mid-Range Option

TCLs 6-series since its release has offered tremendous value to the mid-range TV market, and it is definitely one of the best 75-inch TVs you can buy. The TCL 75R617 has largely improved its predecessor and has fixed some issues that hindered its popularity, it boasts an interesting design, great image quality, HDR support, especially Dolby Vision. In its respective market, no other manufacturer has provided a better TV, making the TCL 75R617 a bargain.

Compared to its predecessor, the TCL 75R617 looks and feels like a luxury item, with its refined look that is refreshing and delivers a premium feel. On its slim bezels, it has a very attractive metal trim on the sides and the top.

You will find the power button and the TCL logo on its bottom border that is slightly thicker but looks the part. The back of this excellent TV has a glossy plastic build with a brushed metal finish and it also has VESA mounts there for wall mounting. I can comfortably say that this TV is pretty thin, measuring 1.2-inches for the majority and 3-inches thick on its electrical component part.

The manufacturer has put together a great package here, with appropriate features, such as the 75-inch screen with 65Hz refresh rate, 4K native resolution, and high dynamic range support. Namely the amazing Dolby Vision and HDR10, and if you want to go better than these features you most likely have to spend significantly more money.

Every spec and feature of this TV is put to good use and works perfectly in unison to provide an amazing image. The screen manages to reproduce 99.96% of the Rec. 709 colour specification and makes it capable of competing with pricier models. The colours are also pretty accurate, better than the category average, and it is worth stating that the contrast is amazing supporting inky blacks, mostly thanks to full-array lighting and exceptional brightness of this mid-range TV.

To conclude, I would like to state that this is a great mid-range TV that offers the best value in the market.

LG has been the leading brand in promoting high-end OLED TVs that are capable of amazing things. The company has further refined its efforts to put out one of the best models in the market, delivering a perfect image in the process. The LG OLED77C8PUA is a great OLED TV, perfect for your entertainment, movies, and gaming, thanks to its great picture, amazing sharpness, vivid colors, low input lag, and the best Smart TV operating system in the market.

Despite being one of the most expensive models in the market the LG OLED77C8PUA sports a very simple and unassuming design. I liked the metal stand along the bottom frame of the TV that acted as a stand with its forward curve, which in turn also directs the sound of the down-firing speakers towards the viewer. With its extremely thin bezels and overall slimness of the body that measures some millimetres, the design of this device is near perfect.

This TV is very rich when it comes to connectivity ports, with four HDMI ports all of them capable of supporting 4K and HDR content, and one of them has ARC support, Ethernet, USB ports and many more.

LG has one more time incorporated the Magic Remote, which is my personal favourite remote control, with perfect ergonomics, convenient buttons, and wand functionality, can’t get any better. It is also worth mentioning that the LG OLED77C8PUA has LG’s webOS interface that is one of the best and most user-friendly Smart TV interface-all around the market, adding further value to this TV.

With its new and refined Alpha 9 chip, that excels at noise reduction, detail retention, and colour reproduction, this TV upscales non-4K content at the highest level. I was also impressed with the Dynamic Tone Mapping, a feature that adjusts static metadata signals dynamically, to provide the best looking HDR content.

It is also worth stating that this TV supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and Advanced HDR by Technicolor. With its FALD features and low input lag, this is the best TV for your entertainment centre.

Sony has always excelled in the TV department, despite not being the most popular choice, the manufacturer has delivered some impressive devices. The Sony XBR75X900F is the best 75-inch TV in the market for a variety of reasons, like the 4K resolution HDR support, and a native 120Hz refresh rate. On top of all this, it is one of the brightest TVs in its price range, delivering great value to this product.

Like every TV in Sony’s Bravia lineup, the XBR75X900F as well features a premium design and build quality. Its bezels are constructed of metal and they are very thin, wrapping the screen around perfectly, it also worth stating the brushed dark gunmetal finish on the borders to make it one of the most elegant choices in the market.

The TV itself is fairly slim and compact despite its 75-inch screen measuring 69.69×7.63×42.5-inches with the stand. Speaking about the stand it consists of two L-shaped feet on each side of the screen, offering stability and durability thanks to their metal construction. One of the feet also features cable management.

The Sony XBR75X900F has a rich selection of ports that are divided between two panels, the first set is the most accessible and consists of an HDMI port, two USB ports, audio ports, video input, and an IR sensor. The second part has three more HDMI ports one with ARC support, a USB 3.0 port, an optical digital audio port, an Ethernet port, RF connector, and cable.

This 75-inch TV boasts 4K resolution with 120Hz native refresh rate, full-array backlighting and Sony’s excellent X1 Extreme processor to provide the best possible image.
