Kung Fu Panda 3 has just come out in theaters, have you seen it yet? I haven’t, but didn’t want to see it until I watched Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2 first! If you haven’t seen those movies, yet, here is a review of them for you!

Originally released in 2008, Kung Fu Panda is a computer animated martial arts film that was produced by Dreamworks animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures.

There are a lot of big name voice actors in this movie, including Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Lu and jackie Chan to name a few.

Po is a panda who works in his father’s noodle shop while dreaming of being a Kung Fu Master. Kung Fu is his favorite activity, besides eating. Jack Black lends his voice to the lovable Po and makes his character endearing and hilarious!

Somehow, Po fulfills an ancient prophesy and is made a part of an elite Kung Fu team, the Furious Five, where he is trained to defeat an evil snow leopard.

The team sees Po for who he seems to be, a chubby kid who loves to pretend he is a Kung Fu master, but who is actually sort of a klutz!

I think you will fall in love with Po, as I did! He is such a sweet character and really wants to make the team proud. The movie is entertaining, funny and heart warming. I won’t spoil the end for you, if you haven’t seen it, but believe me that it is a great movie for kids and adults alike!

Kung Fu Panda 2

Kung Fu Panda 2 is the sequel and was released in 2011. Our favorite characters from the movie return to defeat an evil character, Lord Shen, who sets out to conquer the valley of peace, where Po and his friends live.

There is a secret weapon, a family secret and lots of fun and fighting in this movie! I enjoyed these two movies very much and am now ready to go to see Kung Fu Panda 3 in the theater!
