Juice Beauty Product Reviews + Promo Code

I'm trying out organic skin care products from Juice Beauty. Here are my reviews on each product I purchased, plus...when there is a promo code I'll update this post.

Why Juice Beauty?

When I first started testing out Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I used the cheapest moisturizers I could find to go with it. I have seen results, which tells me that the serum is working; but,  I couldn't help but wonder if a more expensive better quality product would do a better job. With the idea being that the serum is what makes the Moisturizer do it's job, what will a better quality moisturizer mean? After a little research, I came across Juice Beauty organic skin care. The reviews were great, and the information I read made sense. After all, if your skin absorbs sixty four percent of what you put on it, then don't you want to put the most natural things you can on it?

This skin care line uses an organic juice base rather than water (thus the name of the company) and does not use any of the chemical ingredients that most major name brand cosmetics use. Read more on my post "The difference between natural and organic beauty products" Can you imagine all the skin nurturing nutrients in that? Because I'm an affiliate, I got word on a promo code where I could get $25 off of a $100 purchase. Whoo-hoo! I made my purchases and now I'm ready to try it out.

Ordering and Shipping

The ordering process was very easy. I was able to find what I wanted and check out with no hassles. I received free shipping with my order and the company used USPS 2-day priority to ensure I received my order quickly. I was sent an email notification with shipping and tracking information right away. I love that. When you order something online you want to know when it ships and when it's going to get to you. You do create an account with the site, that way you can keep up with past orders, returns, etc. I find that very useful.

How Do They Measure Up?

In this section I'm going to tell you what I was using before and what I'm using now. I'll give you pros and cons on each so you can see how they compare. I'm still using the same brand of hyaluronic acid serum, I've just changed the cleanser and moisturizers.

Cleanser: Switching from Neutrogena Foaming Face Cleanser at around $5 to the Cleansing Milk for $22.

Neutrogena pros: Nice scent, cleans well, inexpensive, non-comedogenic. Neutrogena cons: Feels soapy, loaded with chemicals that will absorb into my blood stream, no nutrients for my skin.

Cleansing Milk pros: Smells fresh and delicious, more nutrients for my skin, cleans well, not soapy, leaves skin feeling soft rather than dry like soap can, non-comedogenic. Cleansing Milk cons: It's a little thick and not easy to spread, expensive.

Day moisturizer with sunscreen: Switching from Loreal Active Daily Moisture with SPF 15  for about $6.50 to Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 30 for $29.

Loreal pros: Smells nice, spreads easily, non-comedogenic, inexpensive. Loreal cons: It doesn't have a pump so it can cake up around the edges of the neck, no nutrients for my skin, made with chemicals.

Oil Free Moisturizer Pros: Nutrients for my skin, higher SPF, lightly tinted, smells delicious, packaged where you can squeeze it out easily and it doesn't cake up, non-comedogenic, feels like your skin took a Long Deep Drink of water. Oil Free Moisturizer cons: thicker and not as easy to spread, almost sticky, a little greasy at first but dries non-greasy, expensive.

Night moisturizer: Switching from Equate Oil free moisturizer at around $6.50 per bottle to Nutrient Moisturizer for $36.

Equate pros: Thin, spreads easily, non-comedogenic, inexpensive. Equate cons: chemical filled, no nutrients.

Nutrient Moisturizer pros:  Smells delicious and fresh, makes your skin feel like it took a deep drink of water, nutrients for my skin, non-comedogenic. Nutrient moisturizer cons: Thick and not easy to spread, expensive.

So we've seen a theme throughout these comparisons. The inexpensive stuff smells nice, but the smells are chemical cosmetic smells. The smells of the Juice Beauty are more natural, fruity delicious scents. The more expensive products are thicker and harder to spread, but the immediate results are better. Your face is soft rather than dried with the cleanser and with both moisturizers it feels more than moist...it feels like your face and neck were more parched than they realized and sucked up a long deep drink. The expensive stuff has nutrients for the skin and no toxic chemicals. The only one I'd switch on the expensive brand is the daytime SPF moisturizer. I think I'll try a different one from that same brand next time. It's thick and a little greasy at first, but if if it does the job...it's still welcome. Next order I'll probably try a different day moisturizer though.

Results

These photos were taken in my bathroom mirror with my cell phone. You can see how deep my lines were before starting, a mid-way photo after two weeks, and then the last photo is after four weeks. Since then, the results have stayed about the same. I'm very pleased. I didn't expect the products to completely erase the wrinkles, but they did diminish them greatly and make them not so deep. With continued use I may can keep them from getting deeper as time moves forward. I think I've found my beauty regimen.
