Lakshmi Pooja is done on first day of Diwali ( Dhanteras) and on the third day of Diwali (Lakshmi Pooja). This pooja will help protect your money during the entire year and help increase the money.

Things you will need:

Clean piece of cloth to place the kalash
Kalash
Water
Mango leaves
Rice
Diyas
Kumkum
Pooja supari
Sweets

Process:
- Clean the house
- Spread the cloth and make a bed of rice to place the kalash
- Place the Kalash on the rice and fill it 3/4 th with water
- Place a supari, coin and a flower in the kalash
- Arrange 5 mango leaves in the kalash
- Place a small plate on the kalash
- On the plate make a lotus rangoli and place the idol of goddess lakshmi on it
- Place some coins in the plate.
- Place the idol of Ganapati on the right side of the Kalash.
- Perform Pooja with haldi kumkum and flowers
- Light a diya and agarbattis.
