I love the fact that this scale is easy to use and is accurate. Just pull the tab from the back of the scale and the battery is ready to go as is your scale. Place it on a solid floor ground (not carpet) and stand on the scale. Within seconds you will get an accurate reading of your weight. Once you have the app on your phone and bluetooth on, it will connect and send the results to your phone so you can keep track of your weight (just make sure you have the app open and ready when you step on to the scale). While this scale will not connect with a Fitbit, it will work with both Apple and Android phones. On top of your weight, it will also tell you your BMI. It does not tell you any other information, such as muscle mass, water weight, etc, like some fancier scales do, but really – I don’t care about all that so it does not matter for me. I wanted to point it out though as I know some people particularly need/want that information.

As far as the design goes, I love it. It’s very sleek and simple, but functional. It uses (4) AA batteries, which are included in the scale. I really like the fact of how easy it will be to replace these once they die out since I keep batteries on hand. The LCD screen is large as well to make reading the numbers a lot easier. The bottom of this scale has four non-slip, non-scratch, feet. There are four high precision sensors that can read measurements up to 400lbs in .2lb or .1kg increments. There is an overload indicator if you are trying to weigh in excess of the limit. (This triggers at 405.5lbs and will display EEEE if overloaded.)

WARNING: While this has no effect on me, you should not use this scale if you have a pacemaker, other internal medical device or are pregnant.

All in all, if you are high tech like me, then you will love this scale. It not only serves as a basic scale it incorporates technology so you can track weight gain-loss and use the data to track patterns and help you further in the goal of being fit. The first time you use the app, it will take some time to setup how you want and explore everything, but once done it is very easy to use and gives you a ton of information. It is definitely worth the investment in my opinion!
