EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain – Review, Photos & Swatches

Tags: cheek

Hello everyone! Today I have a new product to review for our Budget Beauty Series and this will come as no surprise, since I’ve already added this in my April 2016 Faves.  I’ve been hearing a lot about this product and a couple of my co-beauty bloggers are also raving about this. They even mentioned that Ellen Adarna swears by this product too. To be quite honest, I’m not totally a fan of cheek stains/tints. I really prefer powders, but when I tried this, boy oh boy..

A multi-tasking gel-type stain that gives you a glowing effect that lasts all-day long.

– Ever Bilena

Shades: Very Red

Price: Php 150

Availability: Everbilena.com. Drugstores, Department Stores, Ever Bilena Counters<

The packaging is fairly simple and straight to the point. It comes in a transparent, plastic, easy-squeeze tube with a nozzle, allowing you to have just the right amount of product. A single pea-sized squeeze can go a long way, and can offer nice pigmentation for both of my cheeks. Witness how it covered the entire back of my hand, as pictured below.

I believe this only comes in one shade, which is Very Red. I didn’t see any other in their counters, nor in their website. Very Red is a classic, rich, cherry red tint that offers a healthy flush of color when blended. It gives you that nice youthful glow on your cheeks and that soft, plump hydrated look on your lips when applied.

What I love the most about this product and why it stands out among all of the lip and cheek stains/tints that I own is that it’s VERY EASY to blend. Let’s say you place three dots on your cheeks and then you blend it using your fingers, those dots will not leave any residue to your face, compared to other tints. Compared to other tints, you need to blend those dots like cra-hay-zy, otherwise those dots will stay for as long as your cheek tint will stay on to your cheeks (maybe longer). That’s why on other brands, I apply my liquid tints on the back of my hands first then I use a stippling brush to blend them on to my cheeks, which actually defeats the purpose, because it lip and cheek tints are supposed to be convenient, at least, that’s how I think they’re supposed to be. With this one, I can leave the house with just this one in my purse, a powder compact, an eyebrow pencil and a tinted lip balm. No brush, no fuzz.

This lip and cheek stain, lasts on my cheeks for as long as five to six hours, depending on how hot it is and how I sweat, but regardless, it still offers a decent longevity.

Overall, I highly recommend this product. Aside from the fact that it’s very affordable, it definitely works and it’s very convenient as a travel buddy. I’ve been taking this with me EVERY WHERE I go. Seriously. I plan on buying two more. One for my mama because she’s already interested, and one for my stash because I plan on just keeping this one for my purse.
