– Your Parenting style can have a big and long-lasting impact on your child’s development and their ability to face future challenges. This has been the subject of many books and authors’ compete in inventing a new trending definition of parenting style. So far, some of the most famous strategies were called “tiger parenting, helicopter parenting, snowplough parenting, free-range parenting and attachment parenting.” What are the principles of those different methods?
– “Tiger parents” are strongly pushing their children to succeed; “helicopter parents” are taking over every aspect of their children’s life; “snowplough or bulldozer parents” are trying to make life easier for their children; “free-range parents” are allowing their children a lot of freedom; and “attachment or gentle parents” are setting soft limits adapted to their children’s needs and character.
