REVIEW – OOFOS Clogs Recovery Footwear

I am always on the search for a good pair of shoes. For me, fashion comes second a lot of times due to the pain I have in my feet from Plantar Fasciitis. Sometimes I get lucky and find a pair of shoes that look great and feel great too! This happened recently with a review product, shoes from Oofos.

OOFOS is pioneering a brand new category of footwear known as Recovery Footwear, thanks to the patented OOfoam technology footbed found on every pair of OOFOS shoes.

OOFOS footwear is 37% more impact-absorbent than traditional footwear and provides superior arch support and comfort that takes stress off the feet, legs and lower back, making any active person feel better. Even after a busy day chasing the kids around, the body takes a beating and wearing OOFOS truly makes you feel rejuvenated.

When I received a pair of OOFOS Women’s OOcloog Luxe Clogs, I was so excited. I found them cute and immediately was drawn to the cushioning that could be felt simply by pushing down on the sole with my fingers. I knew they were going to be comfortable from the very beginning.

I was right. What I did find is that, due to the material used, my foot did not want to slide into the shoe with socks on (and not wearing socks is not an option for me this time of year). Remember that I have a pair of clogs. This would not be an issue with their less coverage shoes, like sandals. For clogs, I would recommend getting a half size bigger possibly to avoid this problem for yourself.

The shoes are so comfortable, just as I suspected. They really do absorb so much impact when you walk. I found I had to be a bit careful not to roll my ankle when wearing them because they are not very structured. The sides had some give to them and I found my foot would naturally go in the direction it wanted to. So, if I was walking and my step was too much on the right, my foot, and naturally my ankle, would also roll to the right. Just be careful and you should be fine!

The patent that I received is so shiny and not showing any marks from scuffs or debris. I did notice that there are some marks where the foot bends that don’t seem to fix themselves at rest. This may be a product of them being patent or it may be a natural occurrence with the Oofos Shoes. This may not be something that bothers you, as for me, but I wanted to let you know that it is a possibility, as it is with all shoes.

Overall, I am satisfied with the OOFOS shoes I received. I found them comfortable enough for daily wear, which is hard for me to find. I will be trying them again when warmer weather occurs and see how the fit works better with thinner socks or barefoot. I am a bit concerned about my feet sweating too much in the material, but the shoes are comfortable enough that it is a chance I am totally willing to make!

I would really like to try a pair of OOFOS sandals this summer. I think with the qualities these shoes had, a pair of sandals will be amazing! With my severe foot and nerve problems, OOFOS shoes have everything I want and need to be my everyday shoe! I will be looking for a pair of adorable sandals that they offer when the weather warms up!

Check out OOFOS shoes for yourself! There are many styles to choose from for both men and women! The Women’s Luxe Clog I received retails for only $64.95. That is a great price for such a shock-absorbing shoe!
