All Weekend

  • The Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma is back with plenty of family fun including carnival rides, livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, concerts and more. Friday–Sunday, various times.
  • Visit downtown San Anselmo for live concerts at Live on the Avenue, Friday & Saturday, 5:30–8:30 pm.
  • Sing to your favorite rockin’ hits from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s at Under the Stars at Belos Cavalos Ranch in Kenwood, Friday & Saturday, 5:30 pm.
  • Immerse yourself in the world of The Secret Garden at the Children's Creativity Museum, Saturday & Sunday, 11 am & 2 pm.
  • Splash and play at the water park at Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa, Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am–5 pm.

Friday, June 23

  • Bring the little ones to Pop-Up Storytime in the Park, Hauke Park in Mill Valley, 10:15–10:45 am.
  • See the movie Mary Poppins at the Corte Madera Community Center, Friday, 6 pm.
  • Friday Movie Night returns to Marin Country Mart with a screening of Up, Friday, 6–8 pm.
  • Bring the family to Marinwood Music in the Park featuring Dogweed String Band and Whiskey Family Band, BBQ available for purchase. 6–8 pm.
  • Darryl Rowe & Fuzzy Slippers (r&b/jazz) performs in Sausalito's Gabrielson Park at Jazz & Blues by the Bay, Friday, 6:30–8 pm.
  • Take a twilight nature hike at General Vallejo's home in Sonoma, Friday, 7 pm.

U-pick organic raspberries opens for the season at Boring Farm in Sebastopol. Reservations required!

Saturday, June 24

  • Pick your own organic raspberries at Boring Farm, Sebastopol, Saturday at 9 am–1 pm. Reservations required.
  • Enjoy live family entertainment and shop at Saturday's Marin Country Mart farmers market, Larkspur Landing, Saturday 9:30–10:30 am.
  • Join Ranger Heidi for mini raft craft building, learning about coastal navigation and more...  Appropriate for all ages. Paradise Beach Park, Tiburon, Saturday, 1–2:30 pm. Registration required. 
  • Circus Bella returns to Yerba Buena Gardens with a new open air outdoor show: Bananas, San Francisco, 2 free shows on Saturday: noon–1 pm & 2:15–3:15 pm.
  • Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs for this Saturday's free Hot Amphitheater Nights featuring live music with Pop Fiction (70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s Dance Hits), Saturday, 5–7 pm.
  • The San Rafael Pacifics take on the Bakersfield Train Robbers at San Rafael's Albert Park, Saturday, 6 pm.
  • Join the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers for free public stargazing of the Moon, planets and more, Presidio Parade Grounds, GGNRA, 8:30–11 pm.

Sunday, June 25

  • Shop for fresh produce and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
  • Come to Marin Country Mart for a Sunday lunch with the food trucks overlooking the Bay, Sunday, 11 am–3 pm.
  • Visit the Stern Grove Festival for a performance by the Indigo Girls with full band Neko Case, Sunday, 2 pm.
  • Terrie Odabi (blues and soul) performs a free concert at Corte Madera's Piccolo Pavilion, Sunday, 5–6:30 pm
