• Celebrate Sonoma County at the Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival and Parade, Saturday 10 am–4 pm & Sunday, noon–4 pm.
• American Crown Circus sets up its big top at Northgate Mall in San Rafael for a weekend of fun performances, Thursday–Sunday, various times.
• Take a wildflower hike with the kiddos in Marin and marvel at the bounty of colorful spring blooms!
• Explore the Marin Headlands and the Point Bonita Lighthouse (open Friday–Mondays, 12:30–3:30 pm).

Friday, April 28

• Sing and stomp with with musician Emily Bonn at the Town Plaza in San Anselmo, Friday, 10:30 am–11 am.
• Join the fun with a carnival block party in San Francisco's Chinatown celebrating children and families! Friday, 2–6 pm. 

Saturday, April 29

• Meet the sheep and learn how wool is processed and made into textiles at Slide Ranch's Sheep to Shawl Family Farm Day, Saturday, 9:30 am–1 pm.
• Get curious and take a family tour at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, Saturday, 10:30 am.
• Celebrate Dutch culture and traditions at SF King's Day at the Murphy Windmill in Golden Gate Park, Saturday, 10:30 am–5 pm.
• Learn about sailing, tour historic vessels, enjoy live music, and more at Call of the Sea's Tall Ships Celebration at the Bay Model in Sausalito, Saturday, 11 am–2 pm.
• Come to the historic Sonoma Barracks Courtyard for free crafts and activities, a petting zoo, live music, and more on Children's Day, Saturday, 11 am–3 pm
• Spend Saturday with KQED at a block party at their headquarters on Mariposa Street in San Francisco, Saturday, 11 am–6 pm.

Sunday, April 30

• Shop for fresh produce and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
• Come browse and shop at the 38th Annual Petaluma Antique Faire this Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.
• It's Opening Day on the Bay! See the decorated boat parade off Crissy Field and Fort Mason in San Francisco, Sunday, noon–2 pm.
