Marin Weekend Family Fun for November 2–4

Discovery Day, a free science festival for kids of all ages, takes place at AT&T Park this Saturday from 11 am–4 pm.

  • Curiodyssey's Illuminodyssey: A Winter Light Experience for Kids

    Electrify your child’s imagination at CuriOdyssey’s spectacular light exhibition. Explore four floors of dazzling exhibits, play inside a village of laser luminescence and roam through a lustrous forest of touchable, radiant sculptures. Dance with circles of spinning light, design fluorescent art in a black light play area, create shadows on phosphorescent surfaces and dial a rainbow of pixelated color.   • Busy Bees—Indoor Play Days

    Parents and little ones are invited to join Recreation Staff for a morning of safe and secure indoor fun!     Do you have children who love animals? Need a goat fix? Always wanted your own a horse? Come help feed our goats, chickens, and resident superstar, Pete, the mini horse.     Presidio Picnic is free and open to the public, and takes place rain or shine on the Presidio’s beautiful Main Parade Ground, an expansive seven-acre lawn with amazing views of the park, the city and San Francisco Bay.     On the first Sunday of each month, the beginning of the lecture is especially for children. After a short talk, the children leave the zendo to participate in their own special programs.     Novato's famous Rombeiro Christmas House, the over-the-top decorated holiday house beloved by countless locals and visitors, was selected as a finalist on a national holiday lights TV show! On Sunday, November 4, the show's judge will be seeing the house for the first time, and they want to make sure there's a fantastic crowd on hand to cheer them on. If you'd like to participate, please arrive at the Rombeiro House on Devonshire Drive in Novato around 5 pm. The judge arrives and the excitement begins at 6 pm! Location: 34 Devonshire Drive, off of Center Road, in Novato.
