Based on the adorable picture book by children’s author, Ann Gonzales, titled Beloved and the Pepper Tree, Ann is announcing a new addition to her book called Beloved’s Neighborhood Club. It’s a virtual club for kids where they can participate in games, contests, and craft projects related to the book. Loads of fun and again, totally free! 

Kids (with parent/adult consent and assistance) can join Beloved’s Neighborhood Club on Ann’s website where they’ll then receive a “welcome email” with a link to the very first project … how to create a sock puppet and host your own puppet show based on the characters in Ann’s book. Also included on the club site is a free downloadable copy of the book and a read-aloud video as well as a welcome video from Ann with her own self-created puppet. 

Once kids have completed their puppet, they are welcome to join the BNC Facebook page and post their creations as well as share their stories on Ann’s blog. Below is a link to both the club sign-up page and the Facebook page.
