The New York Mets Will Honor Bud Harrelson by Wearing a Patch

Bud Harrelson played shortstop for the Mets from 1965-77.  He later coached for the team and served as manager from 1990-91. Sadly, he died from complications of Alzheimer's Disease in January. He was the only person on the field for the 1969 and 1986 World Championships.  He was well-liked by teammates and fans.
