2023 is a bad year for celebrity passings and it is only February 20.  I just found out that Oldies Artist Chuck Jackson has just passed away at age 85.  The Joel Whitburn Top Pop Singles Book indicates that Any Day Now, his biggest hit, only reached #23 on the singles chart.  I assume that he charted higher on the soul chart.
