I have never been much of a Football fan since I am so engrossed in Major League Baseball.  During the fall and winter months, I need to get away from sports.  It is especially tough on New York City football fans with the Jets and Giants doing so poorly.

I am marginally familiar with Kurt Warner, but I am not knowledgeable of the details of his career.  I certainly would classify American Underdog as a biopic.  Kurt Warner played college football with Northern Iowa which was in Division IAA.  Since he couldn't land a job in the NFL, he ended up playing in the Arena Football League. Considered the NFL's greatest undrafted player, Warner is the only undrafted player to be named NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP, as well as the only undrafted quarterback to lead his team to a Super Bowl victory.  He played most of his career with the St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals.

I recommend this film for all.
