Beauty Backstage PH Event Vlog & Haul

Makeup has always been a weakness of mine and if you combine that with shopping, then you best expect that I’ll go broke by the end of the month. Which is probably why I don’t go to the dept stores and go online shopping as much because it’s too much temptation for me. However, recently, I was invited to one of the coolest beauty events I have ever attended so far.

Bhagi’s International, the company responsible for bringing us awesome brands such as Jordana USA, Essence, Catrice, Debora Milano, Joe of London, Flormar, Il Salone, and Entity along with the PV team headed by Liz Lanuzo held an exclusive shopping party for select beauty b/vloggers last January 26, 2017 at Whitespace Manila.

We got these booklet with vouchers inside (1-3 vouchers per brand) where we get to exchange each voucher with whatever product we want from the each brand. I’m telling you, I have never been so excited to shop because some if not most of the items that were available there are either out of stock in some stores or are not yet available. Aaagghhh!!

Let me show you around and also, let me show you the items that I got during the event. There’s also a vlog & haul later at the end of the post so stay tuned.

First we have the Il Salone Milano. Il Salone is a part of the Alfaparf Group, a company specializing mainly on hair care products. The booklet included 2 vouchers from the brand and I exchanged them for the Intense Professional Color Cream in colors 6.3 and 7.4. What’s interesting about their DIY hair coloring kits is that their products are free from paraben, parafins and ethyl alcohol. Oh, and did I mention that they’re only Php 299 per box? Yep. They also gave me their Legendary Collection which contains the shampoo, conditioner and hair cream, a kit exclusive only for those who attended the event.

Next we move on to Joe of London and Romantic Collection. Joe of London carries a variety of scents, from musky, to floral to citrus-y scents, they have it. I got “Orangy”  which according to the one who’s assisting me was their best seller and “Sage”, another best seller. I love both of them. “Orangy” is a citrus-y scent with a hint of floral, while “Sage” is very subtle. I can’t quite describe it. Romantic Collection, however, reminds me of Victoria’s Secret. I got “Memories of You” because I love how “fresh” it smells.

By the way, this is in no chronological order. I don’t remember anymore which booth or what product I got first. Anyhoo. Next up, we have Jordana Cosmetics. I’ve always wanted to get my hands on their products but when I saw their booth, I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of products they have. I got the “Made To Last Eyeshadow Primer (01 Nude)” since I am in need of a new eyeshadow primer (Spoiler alert: It works!). Then, I got a matching palette, the “Made To Last Powder Eyeshadow Collection (02 Dusk Till Bronze). You know I love neutral shades! I couldn’t stay away! Aaand of course, I had to get their famous “Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color (Sweet Marsala Wine).

Moving on to Essence Cosmetics. If you have been following my blog for quite some time now, you will know that I lah-ove Essence products. Their eyeshadow base, their loose powders, their blushes are DABOMB.COM I have been wanting to get a hold of their highlighter because a lot of beauty bloggers have been raving about it and I know that it will be there during the event. Anyhoo, here’s what I got: “Essence Pure Nude Highlighter (Be My Highlight)” Duh! Of course! “Essence Shape Your Face Contouring Palette (Ready, Set, Peach!)” because I love contouring palettes and lastly my favorite “All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder”

Then we go to Debora Milano. I’m not really familiar with the brand, although I see their stalls at the mall, I don’t own anything from them and I don’t see them as much online. So this time, I asked for help, I looked around and see what other people got from their stall and asked what are their best sellers. Shayne (from Queen of All You See) told me that “Absolute Lasting Liquid Lipsticks” are great. I got the shade “Rosetto”. I also found out that their foundations are good, so I opted for the “Comfort Mat (01 Fair)” foundation since it’s been a while since I got a matte foundation.

Second to the last we have, Catrice. Unfortunately, I was not able to take photos of Catrice’s stall during the event. IDEKW. Ggggrrr.. But I’m very VERY excited to use all of these. First thing I got is the “All Around Concealer Palette”I’ve heard Tati rave about this one. I also got their “Blush Artist Shading Palette (Rock n’ Rose) I love Catrice’s blushes so I had to, HAD TO get one of their blush palettes. Then, I got another contour palette, bwahaha. I got the “Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette (Warm Harmony).

Finally, Flormar. I love their concealers and their nail polishes! I got myself their “Perfect Coverage Foundation (102 Soft Beige)” I’ve heard lots of great things about their foundations so I had to try at least one. I also got their “Illuminating Primer Makeup Base”. The one who assisted me told me that this was reaaallly good so I can’t wait to use this. Finally, I got myself their “Deluxe Cashmere Lipstick (Austere Brown)”. I have been wanting to get those gold tubes for a while now and the shade that I got is really nice too.

So those are the products that I got for myself so far. I am so excited to use all of them especially the makeup products (Duh!). Btw, here’s my vlog summarizing all of the highlights along with the haul that I did the next day.

Anyhoo, I hope you enjoyed this post, as well as the vlog & haul. Please let me know what product would you like me to review, or if you would like to see them in my channel, then please let me know too. I would really appreciate it. See you! :*
