According to the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics, more than 9 million STEM jobs will be created between 2012 and 2022, a compelling reason to prepare our students for careers in those fields. This leads to a bigger question: how to make Children understand the relevance of math? The first step is to include – from the early years – mathematics in everyday life, as many parents have taken the good habit of doing with reading.
