In the height of anticipating their newborn, one thing which Expecting parents often overlook is packing Hospital bags for delivery. You should definitely always have a bag packed for hospital emergencies.
After living through the emergency birth of my boys. I still have a Hospital Bag.
Mothers are usually prepared but fathers should be as well.
I spent 2 unprepared weeks in the hospital with my expecting wife.
I created a checklist. Hopefully you will be more prepared than I was.
Backpack or something on wheels: Think mobility. You might have to move from one hospital room to another. Babies arrive when you least expect it. You will have to secure your items plus your partner’s belongings quickly.
Change of clothes: Think comfy, such as sweats, sweatshirts and pajamas
Change of shoes: sneakers recommended
Chargers for tablets, laptop and cell phones
Health bars, trail mixes, dry fruits, jerky, nuts
Water bottle, reusable utensils
Coins for vending machines and parking
Labels: you might have to share a refrigerator & want to label Food
IDs, Insurance information and other relevant paperwork
