Work smart; Train your dog with these 4 tips – is your quick guide, if you feel you need more help always consult an expert who uses humane Training methods.

Dogs are man’s best friend. They have been loyal companions for years, and
are a source of unconditional love. But this is not enough, you need to train them well
so that they can live harmoniously at home and in society. It is important to train your dog at home so that
it will be well-behaved in public. It can be quite overwhelming to train your puppy since you
might not know how to start. We have talked to some expert trainers to gather some
tips on training your dog.

1. Socializing Your Dog

Socializing your dog is an important part of their development. Socialization teaches them
how to behave in different environments, which will make them less likely to fear those
environments later on.
Socializing a rescue dog can be difficult because they are often scared and don’t know how
to act in a new environment. Here are some tips for socializing your rescue dog:

  • Introduce them slowly to different people, places, and animals.
  • Give them treats when they act appropriately in new situations or when they do something
    you want them to do.
  • Praise them when they do something good and ignore bad behavior.

2. Potty Training Your Puppy

Potty training your puppy is not an easy task. It takes time, patience, and consistency. The
most important thing you need to remember is that it’s a process, not a one-time event.
The process of potty training your puppy can be broken down into three stages: the
exploration stage, the learning stage, and the maintenance stage.

What is the exploration stage?

The exploration stage is when your puppy starts to explore their surroundings and will
usually start to relieve itself in the house in order to mark its territory. This stage typically
lasts about two weeks but could last up to six weeks. This is why you should be smart and
Purchase Pee Pads for your dog so that they do not dirty the house. During this time it’s
important that you provide your pup with plenty of opportunities for them to go outside and
take care of business so they can learn that going outside means going potty or peeing.

3. Teaching Them Basic Commands

When teaching a dog obedience training commands, you should start with the basics. The
most important command to teach your pup is “sit”.

The sit command is an important one because it helps you control your dog’s behavior and
tells them what to do when they are not in an active state. This is also one of the most
common ones and paves the way for them to learn complex commands such as Roll Over.

Use treats to reward your pup..

4. Use Treats

Treats are a great way to reward your pup for good behavior and obedience. They also
come in handy when training your pup, as they can be used as a reward for desired
behaviors. Treats are an essential part of any dog’s diet, but it’s important to know the right
amount and when to give them. Here are some tips on how to use treats properly:

  • Don’t give your dog more than 5 treats a day.
  • Don’t use treats as the only way of rewarding your pup; you should always praise him or her with words too!
  • Give him or her one treat per hour while he or she is being housetrained, then move on to one every 2 hours once he or she has completed this task.

It is important to learn smart ways of training your dog and getting them accustomed to the house. Use these tips to help you on your path.
