These seminars will take place at our Upminster office. We will be providing talks in person on why having a Will and Lasting Power of Attorneys in place is so important. Our Private Client team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have over a cup of tea or coffee.

Wills

Over half of people in the UK currently do not have a Will and this can lead to unfortunate difficulties upon death. You may not have a valid Will or a family member may even contest your wishes! This means that your assets may not pass to whom you want to inherit, leaving your loved ones in financial stress and hardship. It also can be time-consuming and expensive to resolve.

Lasting Power of Attorney

Over 850,000 people in the UK have Dementia; this figure has been estimated to rise to one million in 2025. Dementia can lead to you not being able to make your own decisions. Did you know that a simple document – a Lasting Power of Attorney – nominates a person to make financial or healthcare decisions on your behalf?
