We are delighted to announce that Essex based Charity, Kids Inspire will be Pinney Talfourd’s Charity of the Year for 2022/2023.
After raising over £12,172 for H.A.D, their last Charity of the Year, the firm wanted to Support another local charity with strong links with the community and on this occasion for the younger members of the community.
Kids Inspire provide mental health, emotional wellbeing and trauma recovery support for children, young people and their families in Essex. They provide a range of therapeutic and community activities and their mission is to ensure that all children in the UK receive specialist support to become healthy adults who lead complete and fulfilling lives.
The Charity was founded in 2007 by Sue Bell OBE, their Chief Executive and Clinical Director, to provide somewhere for children who were victims of distress, abuse, or neglect to turn to for support.
The child is at the centre of the support offered but families receive therapy alongside the child to support long-term sustainable outcomes. They provide, as an example, bespoke therapeutic services, counselling services, group work for older children and mental wellbeing support for children in care.
Working across Essex, the organisation has made a difference to over 10,000 young people. Pinney Talfourd is looking forward to working with Kids Inspire to raise funds over the next year. Our staff love the challenge of fundraising for worthwhile causes and will certainly continue to do so this year. We have lots of activities planned which we will keep you posted about throughout the year.
