Sympathize

I Sympathize with my fellow human beings. Those who can’t achieve that “American dream”. I walk down the street and observe the homeless and wonder how did they end up this way. People pass them like they don’t exist, I don’t get it. Every single one of them has a story to tell. How do we live in a world where things are not available to everyone. Things such as food, clothing, and shelter. The basic things in life we take for granted is what they are lacking. I can’t imagine how they feel when someone passes by looking at them like they aren’t even human. When I see a homeless man or woman I can’t help but wonder what it’s like for them, do they have family or are they all alone in the world. Despite their situation, some have amazing spirits and are always happy. They have this spirit about them you can almost feel it. It never ceases to amaze me how even with very little people can still find a way to smile and continue to live. I look at my life, I don’t have it all, I don’t have all the answers but I appreciate the little that I do have and am grateful and never look past someone who is hungry. I think about all those men women and children who are suffering and don’t even know where their next meal is coming from. I wonder sometimes why the world is this way, there is enough food and wealth to create a better world. Why do we have to live this way on such a beautiful planet? Some people are to busy buying expensive boats and jets some days I just wonder if we will ever change as a species. I don’t think we will learn, seems like we been through this a few times in the past and we just don’t get it. We’ve here before and unfortunately, we may be damned in eternity to keep starting over only to repeat it all over again.
