For the past seven years, the Beaches Library, located in Neptune Beach, FL, has thrown a ComicCon complete with comics, vendors, panels and cosplay. Each year it gets better and better! We had a great time this year doing all the kid’s activities. The event is usually held sometime in April and is always free to attend.

My son got into the ComicCon spirit and put together his own Superman cosplay to match my Supergirl outfit. He even wore Superman underwear! He asked me if there were going to be other people dressed up, and I assured him there would be. He was very excited to see all the costumes when we arrived!
The library does a great job of setting up crafts for the kids. He found his friend Zoe and they made superhero cuffs, a mask and badges.
They also had panels, gaming, special guests, a magician, a food truck and a costume contest! I was so busy chasing after these two that I realize now I didn’t take many photos of all the fun things they had going on. The kids got their face painted, played giant Jenga and got to spin the prize wheel.
