The best parties are usually those celebrated at home. Transforming your home to your child’s party venue is fun and fulfilling. I am a mom that loves to create crafts for my child’s birthday. The most recent theme was The Wizard of Oz. I was able to transform our living room to Emerald City!
Birthday cakes should be interesting and creative. My son’s birthday cake was inspired by Emerald city and somewhere over the rainbow. R-O-Y-G-B-I-V cake!
Details, details, details… Wicked & Glinda sparkling water, tin man hats kisses candy bar, Wizard of Oz cookies, Dorothy chocolate covered Oreos, character cupcakes, rainbow push cakes, lollipop guild doughnuts, personalized loot bags, If I only have a heart loot bags, Toto fruit basket and the yellow brick road.
Even during winter you can create a picnic set up indoors by using plastic benches from IKEA and artificial grass. Dorothy basket with Toto and fresh fruit salad is a nice touch in creating the picnic theme.
