There may be always something that you need to prepare for and our lives can be so well documented that it can be easy to get lost in the past or a ‘what if’ thought as well.

Given the fast pace and difficult schedules that we all have, there is always a level of stress and unhappiness that can creep up from time to time. To help with turning those negative thoughts of the Worry out, there are a few tips to help you. To truly live in the moment, it’s working on being present. All our attention is focused on what is happening around you rather than what happened in the past or what could happen in the future.

Learn To Balance Your Past

Of course, it’s good to think about the past and what could happen in the future. Where would we be if we never planned for our future or prepared for what is to come? It’s essential to have a healthy life to think about it from time to time but it’s focusing too intently on either the future or the past. Thinking about it too much can have a serious negative effect on our lives. When you tend to worry less, experience less stress on a regular basis and truly find yourself living in the moment you now you’ve been able to balance it all.

Take It In Small Doses

In order to help you attempt to balance everything as best, you can, think about your future and your past in small doses. An example would be to think of the future as in long enough to prepare for it and then move on from it. Stay in the present moment for the vast majority of your time if you can.

Use Yoga To Help Live In The Moment

You may have heard people say that yoga is a great way to get connected to the present and live in the moment. One way they work on this with you is talking about focusing on your breathing. Your breath is always there and it’s our breath that is our constant connection to here and now. When we focus on our attention on our breath, we have no choice but to be present and bring yourself to what is happening around you. There are many great breathing techniques to help you reach that point too. There are also great poses to help you stay in the moment as well such as getting in a good pose and letting your mind flood with restless thoughts.
