Banjara Melting Pot

“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”

This place known for its Mughlai and seafood delicacies, is  located right opposite Citrus on Cunningham road and can be easily missed if not for the big board. Another branch is in Koramangala.

Food- Splendid. This restaurant serves some incredible kebabs in hot Metal ‘Pots’ that literary ‘melts’ in your mouth. Indian Breads are phenomenal. Gravies are fantastic. Excellent Rice items. However the Pan Asian/ Chinese cuisine is not as good as the Indian Food. Dishes available here are quite common and something exceptional or remarkable is missing. It has an Exquisite selection of drinks. Not many choices for dessert. (7/10)

Service- Exemplary. Quick and efficient. Food arrived within 15 minutes. Apple I- Pads are given to customers to place their order which is brilliant. Waiters are trained well and make you feel special. (8/10)

Ambiance- Marvelous. Something that’s not spectacular yet elegant. One gets a feeling of walking into an outstanding five star hotel. Comfortable and spacious seating arrangement. Peaceful and well lit atmosphere with light music and pleasant AC. Beautiful wall Carvings. Amazing Flooring.  (8/10)

Pricing- Moderately high. Not very pocket friendly but value for money. A wonderful meal and a delightful dining experience overall so the amount spent is worth though some things on the menu are not economical. (7/10)

Recommended/ Top Picks- Murg Angare, Murg Makhkmalai, Baby Butter kulcha, Murg Makhanwala, Murg Tikka Nawabi, Zafrani Chicken and Ghee Rice.
