Umi sushi is a great place for Japanese food lovers who are on budget constraint. Umi sushi not only offers sushi and also sashimi, bentos, udons and Japanese salads. It’s hard to miss out Umi sushi outlets as they are mostly conveniently located near the MRT stations or in shopping malls. Umi sushi also offers food delivery however it doesn’t extend to the S$1 sushi promotion.

What’s included in Umi sushi Thursday S$1 Promotion? Salmon, Unagi (Eel), Inari (Sushi in a bean bag), Tamgo (Egg), Maki to Ebi (Prawn) Sushi and more! Choose from any boxed sushi priced at S$1 however that doesn’t include appetisers, sashimi etc… Most of the boxed sushi were in 2 pieces except salmon in 1 piece. Considering the price at S$1, its definitely a steal! Promotion is valid for both dine in and takeaway.

I have ordered 11 pieces (S$11) to be shared by 2. My favourite is salmon sushi, look at the salmon fats! If you feel that sushi is not filling enough, buy Futo sushi. Where else can you dine in a Japanese eatery at low cost with air conditioning!

Complimentary chopstick, spoon and condiments such as wasabi, soya sauce packets and Japanese chilli powder are available at Umi sushi.

Another good news! There is no GST or service charge. S$1 per box is the nett price that you pay for your sushi. Hurry down to Umi sushi on every Thursday for your lunch, hi-tea snacks or dinner before its all gone.
