{Media Invite} Yummy Thai Fare near my parents' place
'm back to the familiar Geylang East estate where I lived and grew up in. I studied in Geylang Methodist School for nearly a decade during my primary and secondary school days and I even had my swimming courses held at Geylang East Swimming Complex which was an approximate 10 minutes walk from Aljunied MRT Station.
During our food tasting at Sunrise Bistro and Bar earlier, Karl mentioned that the food at Spicy Thai - Thai Café was fantastic and I was unaware that the café was actually located very near the Geylang East Swimming Complex as it was hidden at a secluded corner where the air-conditioned coffeeshop used to be.
My family used to dine a couple of times at that coffeeshop but our mother would prefer home cooked food as she believed it would be healthier for our growth. Hence we seldom dine at coffeeshops unless she decides to take a break from cooking dinner :) We didn't even know that the coffeeshop has winded their business and was taken over by Spicy Thai - Thai café.
