Now if you know me well enough, you’d know I don’t like office politics, or competition. It sorta brings out the worst in me because, well, who doesn’t like winning right? When you go in, you’d definitely want to go for the kill & come out shining. And that’s just not me anymore. This year is about Jane Go 2.0 – I’m all about serenity & tranquility now, just like the 2016 pantone colors of Rose Quartz & Serenity, lol. Besides, I shy away from big events & send my most humble regrets whenever an invitation for such comes my way.

And so, I modestly & politely declined. First off, because I’m really not worthy. I may blog a lot about food but I am in no way in the league of my favorite foodie, JinLovesToEat (who sadly doesn’t blog as much anymore), or my cousin RICHARD for that matter -who takes absolutely the most beautiful food photos & describes each taste & texture perfectly that you’d either actually drool with every compliment, or grimace with every criticism. That’s how passionate his words are, you feel like you’re right there, eating at his table, sharing in every morsel.

My blog is just full of silliness, carefree moments & happy insights. You don’t really go to my blog (which as you know is full of selfies, two-fies, and we-fies) to get an answer to your question & hunt for the next big thing in the food scene. Nope, for the latest tip, newest jaunt, most complete info & drool-worthy photos, you go to Tales from the Tummy for the most honest & up-to-date insight. You don’t find any sugar coating there, sponsored posts or not.
